With a long history of exposure to media, PR, and design, Samara cut her teeth on writing advertising copy professionally at the probably too-young age of 18. She began investigating website development in her 20s, and quickly found that her care with translating some of the more abstruse technical details of building a website into layman's terms helped her develop a niche market. In 2002, Websandwich.net officially launched.

Originally begun as a web design and hosting company catering to small businesses and the less-than-technically-savvy entrepreneur, Websandwich.net evolved from a coding and web design resource to include a variety of artistic and literary endeavors as Samara's own interests expanded and were made commercially viable. SC C&D is the design arm of websandwich, which now offers an expanded set of services like book editing; artistic, abstract and stock photography; food blogging, and more.
